Alondra De La Cruz is a journalist based in Central California. She is currently an assignment editor at ABC30 in Fresno, CA where she covers crime, breaking news, and general assignments.
She obtained her masters in journalism from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in journalism from California State University, Stanislaus.
De La Cruz was a production assistant at KGO-ABC7 in San Francisco, reported and digitally produced for Oakland North. She was an editor and reporter for The Signal Newspaper, interned at KCRA 3 Sacramento and held the position of Station Manager at KCSS 91.9FM. She is also the 2018 White House Correspondents Associations’ Student Scholarship recipient.
